I have therefore looked for a good quality replacement that is stable and fast enough for standard internet speeds used with an older model ExperiaBox from KPN. When installing the new computer, it turned out that there were no Windows 7 drivers for her old wireless USB adapter. The old computer was installed with Windows XP, the new with Windows 7 Home. Since my mother's computer no longer kept up with the times, I put down a new computer. So far I haven't had any network issues that I can attribute to the USB network adapter. The main purpose is gaming and this works perfectly. Note: I'm barely ~5m from the router, but the connection bridges a floor. The download speed is twice as fast compared to my laptop and it never cuts out (when my laptop often finds the internet in the same place as the PC is now). The latter two can be used to position the adapter more practically in order to obtain a better connection.
NETGEAR N300 WIFI USB ADAPTER CD INSTALLER MANUALS
In addition to the installation CD-ROM, manuals and the network adapter itself, a USB extension cable and a holder are also included. The driver program is user-friendly, but also unnecessary as the driver is more than sufficient. The option was also given to download the drivers online and finally there was the option to install only the driver (without driver programs). Installation via the supplied CD was very easy. I was not familiar with the brand, but I did enjoy an image with an eye on quality. The relatively cheap price compared to similar peripherals also appealed to me.

In general, USB network adapters received better reviews than built-in wireless network cards, and the NETGEAR WNDA3100 USB adapter received better reviews than others. The reason for purchase was the following: I had purchased a desktop PC, but unfortunately did not have the option to run an Ethernet cable from the router to my PC, which is located on a different floor. I bought the NETGEAR WNDA3100 a month and a half ago, which gave me plenty of time to test it out.
